The land of the town of Lovech does not fall within the scope of the mountainous disadvantaged areas in Bulgaria, but it is part of the regions with restrictions other than the mountainous ones. The bee colonies are kept in 10-frame hives from the Dadan Blat system. Each hive is numbered according to the requirements. An outbuilding located in an apiary is adapted and equipped for storage and extraction of honey. For the provision of veterinary services to the bee colonies - prevention, treatment and diagnosis, the farmer has a contract with a personal veterinarian. To date, no significant diseases have been identified in bee colonies. The obligatory diaries for the farm are kept.
