The object of the investment is to modernize an existing enterprise by purchasing new technological equipment and facilities in an existing plant for the production of canned fruits and vegetables.
Maritsa Ecoprouse EAD will modernize an existing plant for sterilized vegetable cans in Pazardjik. Specifically, the modernization involves the replacement of a fully depreciated two-stage refrigeration system with two screw compressor units manufactured by SAMIFI BABCOCK, PASCO, with a rated engine output of 200 kW and 250 kW, respectively, with a new compressor unit with a rated engine output of 200 kW, ammonia, cold 260 k (evaporator temperature - 38 ° C, condensation temperature + 35 ° C together with two condensers, condensation temperature + 35 ° C, power 660 kW), as well as the purchase of metal shelves with 2 frames, size 2 000 x 800 mm, which will ensure the production process, the operation of the existing freezing tunnel and will lead to improvement of the production process of processing, better use of the factors of production and improvement of the environment protection.
The location of the premises and the equipment ensures compliance with the basic requirements for separation of the flows of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products and the creation of safe and hygienic working conditions.
Raw material from Bulgarian suppliers will be processed, which will have an effect in terms of strengthening the relationship between a farmer and a processor.
The production technology is in line with the existing technological equipment of the company, taking into account the planned modernization. The technology is waste-free and does not pollute the environment.
