Bulgarian agriculture is undergoing a continuous change and is operating in an increasingly competitive domestic and foreign market. A significant part of the physical assets in the sector are old, depreciated and do not meet European Union requirements. Achieving Community standards involves significant investment which would be difficult to achieve without financial support. The current business plan is for the purchase of a specialised tractor to carry out agrotechnical measures in permanent crops and the installation of an autonomous photovoltaic system to power a cold storage chamber for storing the own pear and cherry production. According to the drawn up plan , it is planned to purchase a 38,3 hp tractor and a 7,2 kW high-efficiency photovoltaic system. The main objective of the project is to improve the overall activity and competitiveness of the farm and its modernisation.
