Description

The financial instrument under PA1 “Water”, OPE 2014-2020 aims at providing o co-financing of eligible activities under priority 1, OPE 2014-2020, envisaged to be financed basically through grants under the Programme. Nevertheless, it is required the final recipients to provide financing for part of the eligible investment expenditures as well as the non-eligible ones. The financial instrument could support the final recipients in providing financing for expenditures eligible for financial instruments’ support under OPE 2014-2020 through loans or guarantees in accordance with the provisions of art. 37 (7-9), Regulation 1303/2013 and in accordance with EC Guidance on combination of support from a financial instrument with other forms of support. In addition, the Investment strategy for financial instruments under PA 1 “Water”, OPE 2014-2020 envisages some indicative measures that could be financed through financial instrument as a project or part of a project envisaging to achieve full compliance with the requirements of the European and National legislation concerning the drinking water and wastewater.
