With the project proposal, "LAG-Razlog" Association is applying for approval of a local development strategy to achieve upgrading and sustainability in implementing the CLLD approach on the territory of the Razlog municipality through support for competitiveness, investments and employment creation in local economic activities and projects for the public good. The strategy covers the territory of Razlog municipality, which has eight settlements and a population of 18,966 inhabitants. It was developed in compliance with the basic LEADER/CLLD planning principle of "bottom-up" in a process of informing, consulting and discussing with the local community and with stakeholders from the public, business and non-profit sectors. The priorities and objectives of the LEADER/CLLD are aimed at achieving the main goal - integrated and sustainable development of the territory in social, economic and environmental aspects. The strategic framework is aligned with the local needs and potential, with the stated project intentions or expectations of the stakeholders, and corresponding to the objectives of the CLLD approach and the SPDARA 2023-2027, and to the program objectives at local, regional and national levels. The strategy is based on SWOT, from which 7 specific objectives in 3 priority areas have been derived: - Local economic development - Local living environment - Local community and territorial identity. 8 measures have been developed for financing projects from the EAFRD, and activities in accordance with the EU concept of "smart villages". The measures and activities selected in the CLLDS, including for cooperation, are in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 and Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 and lead to the achievement of the objectives of the SPDARA. The following are described: Action Plan; Monitoring System; Indicators; EU Horizontal Principles; Capacity to Implement. The financial plan provides and justifies a total of BGN 5,867,400 from the EAFRD.
