The NGO “Local Action Group (LAG) of the Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” has been operational since 2010 and is responsible for implementing the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) Strategy under Agreement No. RD 50-140/21.10.2016. The current project proposal builds upon the implementation of the previous strategy, preserving the long-term vision for the sustainable development of the territory. It incorporates interventions that have been identified and approved by the local community and outlines their management in accordance with the strategic framework. This framework is based on a comprehensive socio-economic analysis, which considers the internal strengths and weaknesses of the region, as well as the anticipated impact of external factors, including opportunities and threats. The financial framework and the specific measures for achieving the objectives have been clearly define. Specific measures have been outlined to ensure the achievement of the set objectives. Furthermore, the strategy includes complementary sources of funding aimed at enhancing regional development. The document also details the planned activities and governance mechanisms that will ensure transparency and public accountability throughout the implementation process. In addition, a monitoring and evaluation framework has been established to assess the outcomes and overall impact of the strategy.
