Fishcom LTD is applying with this project proposal for the introduction of an innovation in the production process at the company level, which will ensure a reduction in the carbon footprint by introducing into operation the system from RES to obtain electricity for its own needs. The raw material used in the production process will be from its own fish farms.
The implementation of the planned investment is expected to have an impact on improving energy efficiency and decarbonization of the processing processes in order to reduce the harmful impact on the environment and reduce the cost of costs (reducing energy consumption and switching to renewable energy sources).
The project proposal includes fully eligible costs according to the Conditions for Application under the procedure through the selection of projects BG14MFPR001-2.008 "Processing of fishery and aquaculture products":
- Costs for the construction of renewable energy sources (RES) to obtain electricity.
The project proposal directly addresses the following eligible activities according to the Conditions for Application Procedure through Project Selection BG14MFPR001-2.008 “Processing of Fisheries and Aquaculture Products”:
- Improving energy efficiency and decarbonization of processing processes in order to reduce the harmful impact on the environment and reduce the cost of production.

Изграждане на система от ВЕИ за получаване на електроенергия за собствени нужди: Обекта на дейността е изграждане на сиситема от ВЕИ за получаване на електроенергия за собствени нужди. Изпълнението на дейността ще доведе до имплементиране на нов подобрен бизнес процес в преработката водещ до намаление на въглеродния отпечатък в производството.
Дейността пряко кореспондира с допустима дейност по процедурата - Иновации за осигуряване на добри екологични показатели на процесите по преработка и кръгова икономика - посредством намаляване на въглеродния отпечатък, чрез въвеждане на ресурсоспестяваща технология в процеса на преработка, а именно въвеждане в експоатацияна на ВЕИ система за получаване на електроенергия за собствени нужди.
Изпълнението на дейността намира пряко отражение в Индикатор "Предприятия, подобряващи ефективността на ресурсите в производството и/или преработката" и Индикатор "Въведени иновации (брой нови продукти, услуги, процеси, бизнес модели или методи)".
