Programme: Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme for Bulgaria

The object of the applicant's project proposal is the implementation of a set of activities aimed at raising public awareness in the fisheries and aquaculture sector. The Association "Association of Fishery Products Producers BG FISH" unites the leading producers and traders in the Republic of Bulgaria operating in the fisheries and aquaculture sector. The implementation of the project proposal is planned to have a wide public response. Its results are to be publicly available, with the opportunity to benefit from them being guaranteed for the public, including for similar operators in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.
The activities included in the scope of the project proposal fully comply with those permitted under the procedures, namely:
13.1.3. Stimulating the sale of Bulgarian fish and fish products through participation in and organization of exhibitions and development and implementation of marketing strategies.
The project proposal fully covers and addresses the following criteria:
- Organization and/or participation in a national/international communication campaign for sustainable EU aquaculture, including through the use of social and online media and audio-visual channels;
- Promotion of the sale of Bulgarian fish and fishery products through various communication channels;
- Stimulation of the sale of Bulgarian fish and fishery products through participation and organization of exhibitions and development and implementation of marketing strategies;
- Promotion of local fishing, aquaculture and processing products with the aim of increasing consumption in the country.
