This project proposal aims at the permanent cessation of fishing activities, through decommissioning and scrapping of the fishing vessel "Chrome", part of the registered fishing fleet of the Republic of Bulgaria. The vessel is over 10 years old (first registration on 23.10.1996), is registered as operational and has been fishing at sea for more than 90 days per year in the last two calendar years (102 fishing days for 2024 and 93 fishing days for 2023), in accordance with the requirements of the procedure. The scrapping of "Chrome" will contribute to achieving the main objective of the measure - adapting fishing capacity to available fish resources, as well as reducing overcapacity in the unbalanced segments of the fleet, identified in the last annual national report. The vessel is eligible for funding as it falls into an unbalanced segment of the fleet. The implementation of this measure is in line with the objectives of the General Fisheries Commission and the EU policies for sustainable development and biodiversity conservation. The vessel will be handed over for cutting and recycling by a licensed company registered in the register of the Ministry of Environment and Water. With the scrapping of "Chrome", a certain fishing capacity of 7.46 GT or 84.58 kW will be written off, according to the indicators set under the program. The project will also contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions from fishing activities, in the spirit of the European Green Deal. By undertaking this voluntary and final abandonment of fishing activities, the applicant declares its commitment to the sustainable use of marine resources and compliance with European environmental and economic policies.

Скрапиране на РК ХРОМ: Безвъзмездната финансова помощ на РК Хром е заявена по следния начин
1. РК Хром попада в сегмента 0lt;10 със своите 7,46 GT.
2. Съгласно формулата упомената в Приложение 4.1 "Методология за изчисляване на компенсациите при прилагане на операция постоянно преустановяване на риболовните дейности" за този сегмент следва да се изчисли 11000 x БТ + 4 000 EUR. Въз основа на данните за РК ХРОМ = 11000*7,46+4000=86 060,00 Евро. или 168 318.73 лв преизчислено през фиксинг на БНБ от 1.95583 BNG за 1 EUR.
3. От тази стойност следва да се извади стойността на скрапта по договора с лицензирана компания за покупко-продажба на кораба за скрап или стойността от продажбата на отпадъците, произтичащи от скрапирането и/или стойността на продадените риболовни уреди и оборудване на риболовния кораб. Съгласно предоставен договор за скрапиране общата сума на изкупената желязна скрап се равнява на 2000 лв без включен ДДС.
4. Заявената финасова помощ от кандидата възлиза на 168 318.73 лв - 2000 лв = 166 318.73 лв.
Дружеството заявява следните точки при ранкиране на проектното предложение:
Критерии 1. Проекта за скрапиране на РК Хром е от сегмент, за който е установено, че не е балансиран спрямо възможностите за риболов за сегмент, засегнат от препоръки на Генералната комисия по риболова в Средиземно море (ГКРСМ) - 20 точки;
Критерии 2. Възрастта на РК Хром е над 25г.(първа регистрация е 23.10.1996 - 28 г.) - 30 точки;
Критерии 4. РК Хром е с дължина под 12 метра (10,05 метра)– 20 точки;
Общ брой заявени точки за ранкиране: 70 точки
