Description

Meltume Brewery Ltd. was established in 2019 and currently produces over 40 unique types of beer according to its own recipes. The beer is intended for the local market, and the company has been expanding its production capacity and market niche in recent years. The current project is part of the expansion concept and involves comprehensive investments aimed at reducing the energy intensity of beer production and increasing economic benefits for the applicant.
The project envisages a comprehensive investment in energy-efficient systems for cooling, heating, and ventilation, including precision control systems for the fermentation process, removal of harmful gases, and temperature control in production facilities. The new systems will make the production process more efficient while significantly reducing energy costs. It is planned to purchase and install in the production facilities: 1 chiller unit (air-cooled condenser) with a power of 48 kW, 2 recuperative units with a flow rate of 3000 cubic meters per hour for heating, ventilation, and cooling, and 3 VRF direct evaporation systems, 31 kW each.
To ensure the energy independence of the production, the project includes the construction of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 30 kW, combined with an energy storage system with a capacity of 40 kWh. The installation will meet the enterprise's own energy needs without the possibility of selling energy on the free market.
