The building where the enterprise carries out its main activity — cutting and processing of construction and decorative stone materials — was constructed more than 40 years ago and has not undergone any major renovation since. Part of the roof structure consists of sheet metal, while the other part is made of asbestos-cement panels. The roof is worn out and does not provide adequate thermal and waterproof insulation. In addition, some of the windows are missing glass panes, which makes the premises unheated. The metal entrance door of the production area is also outdated and deformed. The current condition of the building results in significant energy losses. Main objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of the production building through: • Partial replacement of the existing roof covering with energy-efficient polyurethane sandwich panels; • Replacement of 16 windows with new PVC ones; • Replacement of the old metal door of the production area with a new solid door. Target Group: The company’s employees, who will work in an energy-efficient environment, as well as the enterprise itself — as the beneficiary of the improved infrastructure and reduced energy costs. Main Activities: • Dismantling and safe disposal of the existing asbestos-containing roof covering; • Supply and installation of new energy-efficient polyurethane sandwich panels; • Replacement of 16 windows with new high-efficiency PVC frames; • Replacement of the old metal door with a new solid door. Expected Results: • Partially replaced roof, windows, and doors; • Improvement of the building’s insulation
