This project proposal is aimed at implementing measures to improve energy efficiency in an existing production hall owned by NIKDIM. The building is very old, without thermal insulation and with depreciated single-layer joinery, which leads to high energy losses and inefficient operation. In order to improve energy efficiency of the new production hall, the enterprise plans the following investments: -Installation of 4 industrial sectional doors (total 50 sq. m); Replacement of the old joinery with new aluminum (110 sq. m); Laying thermal insulation with XPS on external walls on the north side (total 215 sq. m); Cladding the facade (on the east and west sides) with sandwich panels (total 179 sq. m). The implementation of these measures will lead to a significant improvement in the thermal insulation properties of the hall, and hence to a reduction in energy costs, improvement of the working environment, as well as an increase in the overall competitiveness of the enterprise. The implementation of all measures will comply with the "no significant harm principle" within the meaning of Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2020/852. The implementation of the project will have a positive impact on the environment, as the reduction of heat losses will lead to a reduction in carbon emissions (CO₂) related to energy consumption.
