Sport Expert Ltd. owns and operates the largest sports complex in Kyustendil - Zona Sport Center. With its variety of indoor and outdoor sports facilities, the complex is unique not only locally but also on a national scale. The main problem for the company are inefficient heating and cooling methods and high energy costs, which make the company's services uncompetitive. This project will propose a comprehensive solution to improve the energy efficiency of the Zona Sport Center complex. It includes replacing old, inefficient, and energy-intensive heating appliances with a new VRV system featuring an outdoor unit with a heating capacity of 30 kW and five indoor units located in the closed areas of the sports center. To provide energy for the new heating/cooling equipment, renewable energy sources (RES) will be used. The project includes installing a photovoltaic Power Plant with a power of 30 kW in combination with a local energy storage system /BESS/ - a battery with a capacity of 60 kWh. The produced energy will be exclusively for the needs of the facility, without the possibility of sale. The project will be implemented in Kyustendil within 12 months.
