The project proposal is aimed at reducing the energy intensity of the main economic activity of Kadisha Ltd. and limiting greenhouse gas emissions through the implementation of energy-efficient measures in the company’s auto service building located in Doyrentsi village, Lovech Municipality. The investment includes roof thermal insulation with sandwich panels covering an area of 499 sq.m, replacement of four industrial sectional doors with a total area of 38.06 sq.m with new ones featuring a heat transfer coefficient of U ≤ 2.0 W/m²K, as well as installation of four high-efficiency air-to-air heat pumps with a capacity of 16 kW each. The implementation of the project will result in a significant reduction in energy losses, optimization of operating electricity costs, and strengthening of the company’s competitive position. A substantial decrease in energy consumption and reduction of the carbon footprint is expected during the execution of the company’s main economic activity – vehicle maintenance and repair. The investment complies with the “do no significant harm” principle and supports the achievement of national goals in the field of energy efficiency. The project proposal is also in line with the principles of equality and equal opportunities for all. As a result of the project implementation, Kadisha Ltd. will establish conditions for long-term sustainable growth, based on enhanced energy efficiency, lower operational costs, and reduced environmental impact.
