Color Glass OOD is a leading company with over 25 years of experience in the glass industry. The company operates a large production facility and specializes in printed glass, bent and tempered glass, which require significant energy resources for thermal processing. The sector is highly energy-intensive, with electricity costs being a key factor in production costs. Rising energy prices and peak loads create a substantial burden on operational sustainability. To address these challenges, the company plans to build a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 55 kW on its own property. The investment will ensure self-production of electricity, covering 15–20% of the facility’s needs. The expected annual output is 71,500 kWh, generating respective financial savings.
