The project proposal aims to improve the energy efficiency of a building used as a warehouse by the company, whose main economic activity falls under NACE Rev. 2 code 41.20 “Construction of residential and non-residential buildings”. The building currently has severely outdated and depreciated envelope elements – old window and door frames and almost no effective thermal insulation on external walls and floors. As a result, it suffers from high heat losses, excessive electricity consumption for heating and cooling, and extremely low energy efficiency. The project will implement the following measures: - Replacement of windows and external doors with new PVC frames with high thermal performance – 313 sq.m. - Installation of a new external wall and floor thermal insulation system – 583 sq.m., replacing the insufficient existing insulation. The building, subject of intervention, is rented by the company. The project is expected to result in a significant reduction of energy consumption, a lower carbon footprint, and improved competitiveness of the enterprise.
