Under this project, Phytopharma JSCo will invest in the modernization of its existing HVAC system through the purchase of a new climate chamber with a nominal air flow of 4,300 m³/h and a chiller with a working capacity of 57.4 kW. The aim is to improve energy efficiency and optimize the drying process of gelatin and vegan capsules by ensuring optimal environmental conditions with significantly lower energy consumption. The high-efficiency equipment to be purchased under the project will enable a reduction of the drying cycle from 48 to 24 hours and a decrease in energy consumption by approximately 75%. This will result in annual savings of over 200 MWh of electricity and a reduction of CO2 emissions by more than 60 tons. The projest will contribute to lower production costs and a doubling of the drying capacity. As part of Phytopharma’s long-term program for the modernization of its production facilities, the project represents another step towards a more sustainable, flexible, and energy-efficient production, enhancing the company’s competitiveness in its target markets.
