The project proposal envisages the construction and commissioning of a 100 kW photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) designed to cover the own energy needs of Plastform Ltd. The facility will be built on the company’s own site – specifically on its parking area – thus ensuring optimal use of available space without affecting production or green zones. The main objective of the project is to achieve higher energy efficiency by reducing dependence on external electricity suppliers and ensuring stable and sustainable power supply for the production processes. The expected results include a significant reduction of energy consumption from the grid, improved energy independence of the company, and enhanced competitiveness in the context of growing energy challenges. By harnessing renewable solar energy, the project will contribute to reducing the carbon footprint and lowering greenhouse gas emissions, fully aligned with national and European priorities for green transition and climate neutrality. The implementation of the project will have a positive impact not only on the company but also on the regional economy, combining technological innovation, sustainable production, and responsible resource management. With the implementation of the project, the company will achieve a reduction in electricity consumption by 10% compared to the baseline, as well as a reduction of CO₂ emissions by 50 tons per year. The investment is fully compliant with the DNSH (“Do No Significant Harm”) principle, ensuring that throughout all phases – delivery, installation, and operation – measures are in place to minimize waste, reduce dust emissions, and control impacts on ecosystems.
