Sports School “Yuri Gagarin” educates students from grades 5 to 12, and the specific profile of the school creates conditions for increased tension, conflicts, and the risk of aggressive behavior. In the last two academic years, the following has been reported 1 official report of bullying per year, 5 unofficial reports of aggressive behavior. The reports were mainly submitted by student witnesses and parents, which shows their trust in the school but also the need for more structured response mechanisms. The school does not have a separate plan for the prevention of bullying but implements measures through a pedagogical advisor (appointed in 2024/2025) a book with reports,a book of written reports, internal rules for communication, sporadic initiatives and participation in campaigns, cooperation with institutions. These measures are useful but not sufficient enough because they: lack consistency, lack a unified school approach, lack a mechanism for monitoring and evaluation, lack a sustainable mediation unit, parental involvement is limited, students need specialized development of their social and emotional skills.Identified needs: At school level-development of a comprehensive school prevention plan, introduction of uniform rules for responding to incidents, improvement of communication between teachers, coaches, and parents, creation of a sustainable mediation mechanism. For the teaching staff- improving conflict management skills, applying positive discipline, working with students with behavioural problems, effective communication with parents, mediation skills. For the students-developing self-control, empathy and anger management skills, improving communication and conflict resolution skills, participating in support groups and interest-based activities, participating in inter-school activities. For the parents-more active participation in school life, involvement in mediation, raising their awareness of the risks of aggression, improving communication with the school.
