Programme: Recovery and Resilience Plan

The investment project envisages the construction of a new land-based power plant with a total installed peak power of up to 672 kW and a nominal generating power of 0.6 MW and a local electrical energy storage facility with an installed power of 0.2 MW and a minimum capacity of 0.43 MWh. The goal is the production of electricity from renewable energy sources (solar radiation), intended entirely for transmission to the electricity distribution and/or electricity transmission network of the local electricity distribution company, which will contribute to increasing the share of clean energy in Bulgaria's energy mix. The photovoltaic power plant consists of a photovoltaic, inverter and network part, the connections between which are made by means of electrical and information cables. Photovoltaic modules convert solar radiation into electrical energy. The principle of operation is based on the photovoltaic effect, which is an intracrystalline process for the modules. The voltage and current generated are constant (straight), which results in low levels (or absence) of electromagnetic interference. The direct current energy thus produced enters the inverter part of the FEC, where the electrical quantities are converted into alternating current and corresponding to the parameters of the receiving electrical network. Planned installation of string inverters (standardized products) located in the FEP field. The electricity generated for one year will be about 864,376 kWh. The total area of ​​the plot is 8,562 m². Photovoltaic panels are mounted on a mental structure grouped in strings. The structure arrives at the site ready, after which it is driven into the ground. It is planned to build local electrical energy storage facilities (batteries) at FPP-X, with a total capacity of 430 kWh with Pmax.charge = 200 kW and Pmax.discharge = 200 kW. The project takes place in an urbanized area and no negative impacts are expected.
