1. Background
XChallengePark and Django Surf & Bar have hosted dozens of concerts and festivals, creating a lasting cultural environment for young artists. In order to expand this model beyond the Black Sea coast, the team implemented the Bluebird Stage project – a Blue Bird TC2000 bus converted into a mobile stage. This is the first mobile stage of its kind in Bulgaria, combining transport, stage, lighting and sound in one.
2. Summary
The project envisages holding three music concerts in different cities in Bulgaria, through the Bluebird Stage mobile stage. This innovative format provides an opportunity for Bulgarian musicians to reach a new audience and for culture to go beyond the traditional concert halls. The initiative aims to promote contemporary Bulgarian musical creativity, mobility of cultural products and more direct access of the audience to music.
3. Activities
- Event preparation, coordination, administrative services;
- Fuel, drivers, transportation and assembly/disassembly of the Bluebird Stage;
- Sound, lighting and technical staff on the bus;
- Payment of musical performers, food and accommodation.
