Programme: Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups

This project proposal envisages the conduct of four events representing specialized trainings, seminars and conferences on topics affecting the implementation of energy efficiency measures in connection with projects under Priority Axis 2 “Support for Energy Efficiency in support centers in peripheral areas” of the OPRG 2014-2020. This series of trainings, seminars and conferences are intended for the 14 administrative employees of Botevgrad Municipality who are involved in the preparation and management of the municipal projects under Priority Axis 2. Participation in trainings, seminars and conferences will be held in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. It is envisaged that three of these events will take place in Bulgaria and one in a country in Northern or Central Europe.  In relation with these events publicity and visualization measures will be implemented. There will be a team responsible for the organization and management of the project.
Trainings, seminars and conferences will be specially developed and carefully selected to meet the needs of Botevgrad Municipality in order to increase the capacity of the employees involved in these projects.
The team responsible for activities in preparation and management of projects under this Priority Axis 2 will receive valuable expertise which complements and enriches professional experience of its members. This project aims to increase the overall capacity of the administration of Botevgrad Municipality. Thereby the achieving of high efficiency in the management of current and future projects for introduction of energy efficiency measures in buildings of residential, cultural, government, educational and municipal infrastructure will be maximized.
