This project proposal envisages investments in several different directions, united in the common goal of increasing the accessibility and capacity of the health system and improving the health indicators of the country's population. The objectives set for implementation are in line with national priorities on the one hand, and will also take into account and support the regional priorities of the individual NUTS2 planning regions, bringing together the health care needs of the individual NUTS3 regions, in line with the currently existing equipment and staffing, as well as in view of potential opportunities for future development and expansion of activities. The provision of state-of-the-art medical equipment for diagnosis and treatment will contribute to the job satisfaction of medical staff, which is a key factor in reducing the process of doctors and nurses leaving the country.
The implementation of the project activities will achieve a comprehensive optimization of the costs of hospital care facilities, will provide new highly specialized medical services for the population throughout the country, and will support the process of reform of hospital care, as defined in the National Health Strategy 2020 and building on the results achieved in the implementation of the Concept for restructuring the hospital care system, adopted by Protocol No. 49.38 of the Council of Ministers on 16.12.2009.

Дейностите по организация и управление ще се извършват непрекъснато през целия период на изпълнение на проекта.
