The proposed investment project and its implementation fully meets the objectives of the Belene-Nikopol LAG and the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020 - measure 4.1 "Support for investment in agricultural holdings" to improve product quality, to reduce of production costs, to improve and modernize production and control environmental pollution, which will lead to efficiency, effectiveness, modernization of the economy and a competitive primary sector.
Candidate for procedure №BG06RDNP001-19.564 is PRODUCTION COOPERATIVE "MORNING", registered as an agricultural producer under Ordinance 3 of 1999 for the establishment and maintenance of a register of farmers. Her priority is the cultivation of cereals and oilseeds. The cooperative cultivates agricultural land in the town of Belene, municipality. Belene, region Pleven.
The project initiative is applying for the purchase of agricultural machinery (telehandler equipped with air conditioning, bucket for light materials and hydraulic roller), which will be used for tillage / rolling of soil (tillage), loading and unloading activities in the field and in the base when harvesting the arable land (1800 decares according to BP) of the cooperative in the town of Belene. The properties described in the business plan fall within the scope of NATURA 2000 - PA BG000396 "Persina" and BG0002083 - "Svishtov-Belenska lowland", for which an opinion was presented by RIEW-Pleven.
The challenges for the cooperative's agriculture remain focused on:
• Improving production efficiency and tackling climate change by ensuring sustainability and resilience and protecting environmental components;
• Modernization and restructuring of the agricultural holding and renewal of the available tangible assets; Promoting sustainable agriculture;
• Increasing the productivity and competitiveness of agriculture;
