The project proposal envisages the renovation of the buildings of the Museum, Library and People's Community Center "Rila - 1989" in the town of Dolna Banya by introducing energy-saving measures. The following energy-saving measures are planned for the Museum building - thermal insulation of external walls, thermal insulation of the roof, replacement of windows and construction of a new heating system. The following energy-saving measures are planned for the Library building - thermal insulation of external walls, thermal insulation of the floor, thermal insulation of the roof, replacement of windows, construction of a new heating system, delivery and installation of a roof-top solar power plant for own consumption with a total installed capacity of 8 kWp. The following energy-saving measures are planned for the building of the Rila - 1989 People's Community Center - thermal insulation of external walls, thermal insulation of the roof, thermal insulation of the floor, replacement of windows, construction of a new heating system, delivery and installation of a roof power plant for its own consumption with a total installed power of 6 kWp.
Activities related to the construction of an accessible environment for disadvantaged people are planned for the Community Center building, which will also provide access to the Museum and Library buildings.
The planned activities include the introduction of energy-saving measures in the buildings and improvement of their operational characteristics. The project for the three buildings was prepared according to the energy saving measures provided for by the developed energy survey reports, prepared technical passports of the buildings and the current legal norms. Through the energy-efficient renovation, significant savings will be achieved on the municipality's energy costs.
