The purpose of the project is the modernization and re-equipment of the Dalboka mussel farm and the construction of mesh cages for fish cultivation, and the design solution is a cage installation of floating mesh cages installed on an existing mussel farm in the Black Sea area.
Additional objectives are related to the construction and ensuring the operation of an efficient production facility (enterprise) that will produce for the market with a good return on investment and profitability of production. The choice of biological species is justified later in the project, but this choice has both an economic effect and an ecological sense. 
The main production equipment of the farm - the so-called "cage" and their technical and technological equipment, together with the accompanying main equipment and auxiliary equipment, located in the given and designated Black Sea water area, will be built in accordance with the current national and European requirements and standards concerning the technology and technique for intensive aquaculture - stocking the farm with breeding stock, growing, sorting, catching, preparing and placing the finished fish product on the market, related to the current sanitary and hygienic requirements that must be met by the production, water environment for its cultivation and all other accompanying main production and auxiliary equipment from the point of view of safety for people and the quality of the final product intended for direct consumption by consumers in a fresh or processed state.
