Pig breeding in Bulgaria is a branch with traditions, which is one of the most promising branches of animal husbandry. It is characterized by a high degree of industrialization and concentration, and a developed fodder base. The spread of African swine fever (ASF) is a serious threat to the development of the sector. The disease generates serious losses for farmers from Central and Eastern Europe - Poland, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and others. In 2018 it was registered on the territory of Bulgaria, and in 2020 a case of ASF in wild pigs in the region of Yambol district was confirmed. Elimination of the outbreaks of the disease generates serious losses for the affected farms related to the destruction of all affected and contact animals, layoffs due to lack of production and last but not least loss of confidence of partners and traders. In this regard, the aim of GEOGROUP AD is to take all necessary actions to reduce the risk of spreading the disease on the territory of its pig farms.
In order to increase the level of biosecurity and prevent contamination on the territory of its livestock farms, the company intends to invest in silos for storage of feed grain with a system that provides protection and increase the safety of feed storage.

Строително монтажни работи: Проектното предложение предвижда изграждането на Силози за съхранение на фуражно зърно със система, осигуряваща защита и повишаване безопасността на съхранение в т.ч.:
- силози - 6 броя - всеки с вместимост по 3142 м³;
- елеватори, редлери и шнекове за транспорт на зърното;
- шибри и клапи за регулиране и управление на технологичните потоци;
- пасарелни пътеки с носещи стойки;
- стоманена конструкция за почистващата машина;
- бункер за отпадни фракции снабден с шнек за източване;
- зърноразтоварище;
- устройство за обеззаразяване на постъпващото фуражно зърно, което ще се монтира непосредствено до авторазтоварището.
