The objective of this reform is to introduce mandatory mediation in certain civil and commercial cases. This shall be achieved by adopting legal amendments to the Civil Procedure Code and the Law on Mediation, which shall provide for a legal obligation for parties in certain civil and commercial disputes to take part in judicial mediation. The implementation of the reform shall be completed by 31 December 2022.
