"Behr-Hella Thermocontrol" EOOD is a division of the leading German manufacturer of Behr-Hella Thermocontrol (BHTC). The company develops and manufactures electronics for air conditioning systems for the automotive industry. The VNTS group employs more than 2,000 employees, working both at the headquarters in Germany and in Bulgaria, China, India, Japan, the USA and Mexico.
The company entered the Bulgarian market for the first time in 2013, and in 2015 the production plant was put into operation in the Sofia Industrial Zone in Bozhurishte municipality. The company's product program includes panels and devices for servicing and controlling automotive air conditioning systems, climate sensors, air controllers, PTC glass heaters, etc. BHTC covers the entire process from product design to manufacturing of the complete climate control system, combining diverse fields of expertise from software, electronics and mechanics to all technologies required for the development and production of existing and future operating and display elements.
The products that are developed and manufactured are mainly divided into two categories:
- Products for car air conditioning and passenger comfort
- Information touch devices of a new generation
The company's clients are many world leaders such as Audi, Volkswagen, General Motors, BMW, Daimler, etc.
The current project proposal is aimed at reducing the carbon intensity and increasing the energy efficiency of the production building. This will be achieved through investments in an Energy Consumption Measurement and Control System, the implementation of a waste heat capture and reuse system, the construction of a solar thermal system to support the fresh air drying process, and the implementation of an Energy Management System compressed air.

Acquisition of new technologies with an emphasis on reducing the carbon intensity and increasing the energy efficiency of the production building: Настоящата дейност ще бъде изпълнена чрез придобиване на следните дълготрайни активи, които ще допринесат за намаляване на въглеродната интензивност и повишаване на енергийната ефективност на производствената сграда по следния начин:
1. Система за измерване и контрол на потреблението на енергия - 1 бр.
Чрез внедряването на тази система в производственото предприятие ще се постигне разширяване на функционалността на системата за сграден мениджмънт до система за измерване и контрол на потреблението на енергия.
2.Система за улавяне и повторното използване на отпадна топлина - 1 бр.
Предмет на проектното предложние е и внедряването на система за улавяне и повторното използване на отпадна топлина.При 6600 часа работа, уловената топлина се очаква да достигне 41*6600= 270 600 kWh. Загубите в тръбния път за преноса на отрадна топлина са оценени на 5%, т.е. полезната топлинна енергия, която ще се използва в промишлената система е 257 070 kWh/y. Тази енергия ще покрие около 19,5% от потреблението на природен газ за базовата година 2021 (1388,5 MWh).
3. Слънчева термална система за подпомагане на процеса за изсушаване на пресния въздух / - 1 бр.
При ефективност на системата 65% се очаква оползотворената слънчева енергия да бъде 76 252 kWh. Слънчевата енергия ще замести енергия от природен газ.
4. Система за управление на компресиран въздух - 1 бр.
Компресираният въздух е необходим за работата на основните машини в предприятието. От захранване със сгъстен въздух се нуждаят машините, разположени в производството на кота +0.00 и лабораторията разположена на кота +5.41.Общо потребление за производството е 20.17 m3/min при 8 bar налягане.
Контролерите на компресорите позволяват те да се свържат директно помежду си и да се направи компресорна самоуправляваща се група, която може да бъде увеличена в последствие до максимум 4 компресора. В момента не е осигурено групово управление и превключването на компресорите става от поддържащия персонал.
The current activity will be carried out by acquiring the following fixed assets, which will contribute to reducing the carbon intensity and increasing the energy efficiency of the production building as follows:
1. System for measurement and control of energy consumption - 1 pc.
By implementing this system in the production enterprise, the functionality of the building management system will be expanded to a system for measuring and controlling energy consumption.
2. System for capturing and reusing waste heat - 1 pc.
The subject of the project proposal is the implementation of a system for capturing and reusing waste heat. At 6,600 hours of operation, the captured heat is expected to reach 41*6,600= 270,600 kWh. Losses in the pipe path for the transfer of positive heat are estimated at 5%, i.e. the useful thermal energy that will be used in the industrial system is 257,070 kWh/y. This energy will cover about 19.5% of natural gas consumption for the base year 2021 (1388.5 MWh).
3. Solar thermal system to support the fresh air drying process / - 1 pc.
At a system efficiency of 65%, the utilized solar energy is expected to be 76,252 kWh. Solar energy will replace natural gas energy.
4. Compressed air management system - 1 pc.
Compressed air is necessary for the operation of the main machines in the enterprise. Compressed air supply is needed by the machines located in the production at elevation +0.00 and the laboratory located at elevation +5.41. Total consumption for production is 20.17 m3/min at 8 bar pressure.
The compressor controllers allow them to be connected directly to each other and to make a compressor self-managing group that can be increased subsequently to a maximum of 4 compressors. Group control is not currently provided and compressor switching is done by support staff.

Публичност и визуализация по проекта /Information and publicity - 1 бр. / 1 piece: Настоящата дейност ще бъде изпълнена чрез придобиване на следните дълготрайни активи, които ще допринесат за намаляване на въглеродната интензивност и повишаване на енергийната ефективност на производствената сграда по следния начин:
1. Изграждане на комуникационна стратегия
2. Добавянето на страници към съществуващ уебсайт на дружеството с информация за изпълнението на проекта - Уебсайтът ще съдържа новини и актуална информация за изпълняваните дейности и за резултатите и въздействието на проектите и програмите. Ще се публикуват снимки и ще се споделя съдържание, към което потребителите биха проявили интерес.Ще бъде добавена и контекстуална информация за Финансовия механизъм на ЕИП и Норвежкия финансов механизъм, приноса на донорите.
3. Снимки / аудиовизуални материали - в хода на изпълнение на проектното предложение ще бъдат направени снимки и видеозаписи , които ще бъдат публикувани на сайта на дружеството. Те целят да покажат на обществеността изпълнението на проектното предложение и резултата преди/след.
4. Изработване на табели - 2 броя - в рамките на тази дейност ще бъдат изработени два броя табели - една информационна и една метална, които ще бъдат поставени на видно място в дружеството, оповестяващи основните данни за проекта и ще дадат гласност на приноса от Финансовия механизъм на Европейското икономическо пространство (ФМ на ЕИП) 2014-2021 и партньорство с Норвежката дирекция „Водни ресурси и енергетика“ (NVE) и Националният енергиен орган на Исландия (ОS).
5. Изработване на стикери за новозакупените активи

2. the addition of pages to the company's existing website with information about the implementation of the project - The website will contain news and up-to-date information about the activities being carried out and about the results and impact of the projects and programs. Pictures will be published and content shared that users would be interested in. Contextual information about the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, donor contributions will also be added.
3. Photos / audiovisual materials - during the implementation of the project proposal, photos and videos will be taken, which will be published on the company's website. They aim to show the public the implementation of the project proposal and the before/after result.
4. Production of signs - 2 pieces - within the framework of this activity, two pieces of signs will be made - one informative and one metal, which will be placed in a prominent place in the company, disclosing the main data about the project and will give publicity to the contribution from the Financial European Economic Area (EEA) mechanism 2014-2021 and a partnership with the Norwegian Directorate of Water Resources and Energy (NVE) and the National Energy Authority of Iceland (OS).
