The development of higher education and scientific research is a key factor for sustainable economic growth, innovation, and social progress. In this context, Tsenov Academy of Economics affirms its role as an academic center that combines traditions of philanthropy, scientific knowledge, and modern educational practices. The international scientific-practical conference “90 YEARS OF PHILANTHROPY, KNOWLEDGE, INNOVATION, AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AT D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics – Svishtov” is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university’s establishment to bring together scholars, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and best practices. The forum contributes to the implementation of Objective 6 and10 of the National Strategy for the Development of Scientific Research in the Republic of Bulgaria 2017–2030 by improving the quality of scientific research of regional and national significance and strengthening the interaction between science, education, business, and public institutions. The conference aligns with the priorities of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization 2021–2027, particularly the area of “Clean Technologies, Low-Carbon and Circular Economy,” by fostering scientific discussions on sustainable development and innovation. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the thematic area “New Technologies in the Creative and Recreational Industries,” addressing issues related to the knowledge economy, management innovations, and the role of education, culture, and tourism. The presentation of research in areas related to sustainable development, digital transformation, innovation, and socio-economic challenges will contribute to expanding scientific knowledge, fostering international exchange, and disseminating research findings. Ultimately, the forum will support the formulation of solutions to important social and economic issues and will establish Tsenov Academy of Economics as a significant scientific and educational center.
