Description

The International Scientific Conference on Economics, Business and Management (ICEBM 2026), organized by the University of Economics - Varna, continues the university's tradition of holding an annual scientific forum with international participation. The conference provides a platform for the presentation and discussion of current scientific research dedicated to contemporary challenges facing the economy, business and management, and creates opportunities for the exchange of ideas, experience and good practices between scientists, lecturers, doctoral students, young researchers and representatives of practice from the country and abroad.

The 2026 edition is focused on the processes of change brought about by the development of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, innovation, entrepreneurial growth and the transition to sustainable and "green" economic models. The focus of the discussions will be the impact of new technologies on economic systems and business models, innovation management, sustainable development, as well as the ability of organizations and institutions to adapt to a dynamic and increasingly complex environment.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format – in person at the University of Economics – Varna and online. All papers will be presented in English and will undergo blind peer review, with the organizing team aiming to increase the scientific quality, international visibility and dissemination of published results.
The scientific event will contribute to the promotion of research to a wider academic audience, to the establishment of the authors and the institution in the international scientific space and to create a basis for future research partnerships.
