In 1998, the tradition of holding Bulgarian-Serbian Astronomical Conferences every two years with an exchange of hosts was initiated. In the last editions, an average 60 to 80 scientists participated from both organizing countries as well as participants from other countries such as Germany, France, Russia, Macedonia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Turkey, etc. and it has become one of the most serious astronomical forums in the region. Contacts between scientists have led to many joint projects, financed by the Scientific Research Funds in both countries and bilateral cooperation between BAS and SASA. The topics of these projects are in various fields of astronomy and astrophysics - virtual observatories, astroinformatics, extragalactic astronomy, photometric and astrometric studies of stars, etc. Over 80 scientists have registered for this 15th edition of the conference (20 scientists from Serbia, 2 from the Republic of North Macedonia, 1 from France, 1 from Germany, 1 from Austria and 57 from Bulgaria). There are 27 young scientists, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and students (21 from Bulgaria and 6 from Serbia) registered as participants, which is about 1/3 of all participants in the 15th BSAK. 56 scientific reports and 20 posters have been requested for the conference program with duration of 22:45 hours. They will be distributed over five days, which include 13 scientific, 3 poster and 1 discussion sessions. The conference website, which includes all participants and the preliminary program, is under development: https://astro.bas.bg/XVBSAC/ The scientific papers will be published in a special issue of Publications of Astronomical Society "Rudjer Bošković" in English and will be available from the website of IA and NAO. Publications from the Bulgarian-Serbian Astronomical Conferences are indexed both in the international scientific database Scopus and in the specialized database for astronomical publications SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System.
