XXVI International scientific conference VSU'2026 will be held on October 8 and 9, 2026 at the University of Structural Engineering and Architecture /VSU/ „Lyuben Karavelov“. The thematic areas of the Conference are: I. Architecture and Urbanism. Theory, History and Visual Arts in Architecture. Architectural Heritage. II. Structural Mechanics. Seismic Engineering and Seismic Analysis. III. Building Structures. Geotechnical and Foundation Engineering. IV. Structural Materials. Sustainability in Construction. Environmental Safety & Efficiency. Fire safety and Civil protection.Organization of Construction. Construction Technologies and Construction Project Execution. Construction Management. Economics and Entrepreneurship. Safety in Construction. Digitalization in the Construction Sector. AI and Innovations. VІ. Science Section for Students. The entire activity of submitting requests for participation, abstracts and submission of papers will be done through the developed permanent conference website. It is complemented by continuous e-mail correspondence in Bulgarian and English. The total number of participants in the Conference is expected to be around 150. All papers will be checked for scientific text matches. A Book of Abstracts and Book of Papers are expected to be issued in two volumes. The authors of the published reports are representatives of universities and institutions from various countries, such as Bulgaria, Belgium, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Romania, Turkey, Italy, the USA, North Macedonia, Poland, Greece, etc. The expected total number of authors about 150, which are distributed as follows: Bulgaria - about 100, the remaining participants are from: Belgium, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Romania, Turkey, Italy, USA, North Macedonia, Poland and Greece.
