Description

CLLD strategy of the Local Action Group 'Gorna Oryahovitsa' includes measures and activities selected by the local community that are eligible for financing from the Strategic Plan for Agricultural and Rural Development of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2023 – 2027, with additional financing from the Human Resources Development Program for the period 2021 - 2027, the Environment Program for the period 2021 - 2027, the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program for the period 2021 - 2027, and the Education Program for the period 2021 - 2027. 
By implementing the CLLD strategy from the Local Action Group 'Gorna Oryahovitsa', projects that meet local needs, create and maintain employment for the local population, and benefit small local businesses will be financed. The eligible applicants/beneficiaries under the CLLD strategies are local stakeholders (business, NGOs, public sector) with a permanent address or headquarters within the territory of the Local Action Group.
The local Action group will conduct non-discriminatory and transparent procedures for selecting projects related to the Local Development Strategy and will carry out monitoring of their implementation. The expected results are to create better economic, social, and environmental living conditions in the territory of the Local Action Group "Gorna Oryahovitsa", to support the multi-sector development of the local economy, and to slow down and neutralize the process of depopulation.
