During meetings and discussions, some of the main issues raised were related to the most important problems and needs of the territory, and priorities to which the Strategy should be directed, so as to respond to the identified weaknesses. The goals and priorities for the development of the Struma LAG were defined based on the opinions and proposals of stakeholders, according to which future should be directed towards the formation of integrated local development policies, focused on three priority areas: infrastructure development; diversification and competitiveness of the local economy by stimulating entrepreneurship, new productions, services, introduction of innovations, technologies and digitalization, opportunities for human resources development; and improving the quality of the environment and life on the territory of the LAG through the implementation of smart solutions.
