A LAG was established and operates on the territory of the municipalities of Troyan, Apriltsi and Ugarchin, registered in 2009, and since then it has been carrying out activities for the public benefit. The main goal of the LAG is to achieve economic development, which ensures a growing standard of living, aimed at sustainable economic growth, more and better jobs and greater cohesion, but in a way that preserves the world around us for future generations and (improvement and protection of the environment). LAG TAU has developed a new str developed based on local needs and potential in accordance with national, regional and local policies, as well as the capabilities of the territory. Its main and specific objectives and priorities are related to long-term sustainable development of the region and improving the quality of life of the local community. The development and consultation of the CLLD strategy on the territory of the LAG was carried out with full transparency and broad information. The CLLD strategy of LAG TAU has been developed for the period until 31.12.2027. and it includes the following measures, financed by the Strategic Plan for Rural Development 2023-2027 (EAFRD) for a total value of: 5,867,400.00 BGN: Measure 01 "Investments in agricultural holdings"; Measure 02 "Investments for non-agricultural activities in rural areas"; Measure 03 "Investments in basic services and small-scale infrastructure in rural areas"; Measure 04 "Preservation of the cultural, historical and natural heritage on the territory of the LAG and development of accompanying tourist services"; Measure 05 "Smart villages"; Measure 06 "Cooperation and preparatory activities for it" and Measure 07 "Management, monitoring and evaluation of the strategy and its promotiion Additional funding is also provided for the CLLD strategy from the HRD Program 2021-2027; Environment Program 2021-2027; Education Program 2021-2027; Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021-2027
