The project is for the implementation of the CLLD Strategy for the period 2023-2027 on the territory of the Karnobat municipality, which includes 31 settlements and has been developed with the participation of all local stakeholders. By implementing the CLLD approach, LAG-Karnobat contributes to the needs of improving the living conditions of the local population and target groups, creating a dynamic living environment and improving the quality of life with the ensured inclusion of stakeholders in local development, support for territorial identity, marketing and brands based on the specific territorial potential and products of a local nature. The planned interventions will respond to the need to increase the competitiveness of local economies and opportunities for creating local businesses, including through diversification and support for alternative activities, support for the introduction of innovations. The needs for the introduction of modern technologies will be met with support for innovation in enterprises and promotion of the transition to a circular economy, which will lead to improved resource efficiency; Unemployment in the territory of the LAG is high, and this will be overcome by promoting sustainable and quality employment and social inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized groups. Measures for environmental protection are important for the local community and for using the potential of cultural heritage is a basic need, for which 2 measures are provided. Measures for educational integration and for overcoming the needs of vulnerable groups are provided. The strategic goal is sustainable socio-economic development in the territory of the LAG - Karnobat by stimulating and supporting local initiatives to promote growth, social inclusion and local development, creating better economic, social and environmental living conditions while preserving human potential and the environment through a total of 9 Measures provided for in the CLLD Strategy.
