The CLLD Strategy of the LAG Vazhod - Vetrino, Valchi Dol, Provadia has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of procedure No. BG06AFSP001-01.001 under the intervention "Implementation of operations, including cooperation activities and their preparation, selected within the framework of the local development strategy" by the SPRD for the period 2023 - 2027. The territorial scope for the implementation of the strategy coincides with the administrative-territorial borders of the municipalities of Vetrino, Valchi Dol and Provadia and includes all 57 settlements. The Strategy aims to achieve competitive development on the territory of the Vazhod LAG, based on local characteristics and livelihoods, leading to an increase in the quality of life and well-being of the local population. This will be achieved through support and diversification of economic activities, modernization of the infrastructure environment and business conditions, improvement of the quality of life, preservation and utilization of cultural heritage and natural resources, development of quality services that meet the needs and expectations of local people, and achievement of social integration for vulnerable groups. The measures will create real prerequisites for gradual growth through the joint efforts of representatives of local communities and the achieved partnership between the public, business and civil sectors of the three municipalities. The Strategy is based on current research and analysis of the problems, needs and trends in the development of the territory, as well as the surveyed attitudes of stakeholders. The planned objectives, priorities and measures offer solutions for changing the situation in a favorable direction based on the local human, natural and economic potential by implementing an integrated approach, coordinated with other planning and programming instruments and in compliance with the demarcation requirements and horizontal principles of the EU.
