The project envisages the implementation of a Community-Led Local Development Strategy of the Local Initiative Group Dolna Mitropolia – Dolni Dabnik for the period 2023-2027. The Strategy will finance projects and activities that meet the local needs of the identified stakeholder groups from the public, business and non-profit sectors. The measures are aimed at achieving the priorities of the CLLD for competitive agriculture and economy, modernizing public infrastructure, building an ecosystem of local identity as a basis for sustainable growth and development of the community. Measures are included to support agricultural holdings and processors of agricultural produce, to support non-agricultural production and services, to improve public infrastructure and spiritual sites, to preserve and promote local heritage. The strategy includes cooperation activities, opportunities for partnerships and interaction for initiatives of common interest, support for the creation of smart villages. The project will satisfy the need of the local community for the application of the "bottom-up" principle in planning and programming of local development, with the active involvement of stakeholders in the process, without discriminatory elements and in line with the principle of equal opportunities. As a result of the implementation of the Strategy, long-term benefits will be achieved for local businesses, the quality of life and public services will be improved, and conditions for modern European development of the territory will be created. By applying the CLLD approach, better economic, social and environmental living conditions will be created and the integrated development of the LAG territory will be strengthened, to achieve a better future for the local community.
