The Strategy for Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) for the provision of grant assistance under intervention "Implementation of operations, including cooperation activities and their preparation, selected within the framework of the local development strategy" of the CAP Strategic Plan for Agriculture Rural Development of Bulgaria for the period 2023–2027 of the Local Action Group – Elhovo – Bolyarovo (LAG – Elhovo – Bolyarovo) has been developed with the specific aim to promote employment, growth, social inclusion and local development in rural areas, including bio-economy and sustainable forestry on the territory of the municipalities of Elhovo and Bolyarovo. The implementation of the Strategy for CLLD on the territory of the LAG – Elhovo – Bolyarovo will contribute to local development through improved living conditions, sustainable and effective use and conservation of local resources and smart development, preservation of the spiritual and cultural life of the population and preservation and valor of the cultural, historical and natural heritage, for the development of a competitive, innovative, high added value, increasing income and employment of the economy, as well as for the modernization of the territory through support for the creation of smart villages and for development of territorial identity and marketing based on the specific territorial potential.
