Description

The planned CLLD Strategy 2023-2027 for the territories of the LAG Kirkovo-Zlatograd and the implementation of the operations and activities  is based on the current local needs and potential, summarized from extensive studies and discussions with the local community, as well as on the characteristics and advantages of the territory, outlined in the updated socio-economic analysis of the territory. The Strategy is also based on the results and lessons learned from the implementation of the multi-fund CLLD for the previous period in the territory, which provided a current level of contracting of 98%.
The measures in the Strategy are oriented towards the Priorities and are in implementation of the two specific objectives defined in the strategic framework for CLLD. The draft of the new Strategy also takes into account the interest shown from the previous period. The public contribution for projects set out in the Strategy is 8.058 million BGN.

The proposed CLLD Strategy  2023-2027 includes a financial contribution from the Strategic Plan for Agricultural and Rural Development 2023-2027 · in the amount of 5 867 400 BGN, distributed in 7 measures, including for cooperation and for Management, monitoring and promotion of CLLD. 
Additional funding is also provided from the ERDF and ESF+. For projects under the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021-2027,  554 thousand  BGN. For the Human Resources Development Program 2021-2027 – 1036 thousand BGN for measures for access to employment and active life of older people.  Education Programme 2021-2027 -400 thousand BGN and the Environment Program-200 thousand BGN.
The implementation of the Strategy for CLLD for the territory of the municipalities of Kirkovo and Zlatograd would promote employment, growth, social inclusion. It would improve the quality of life, the living environment and local economic development.
