The project proposal includes the development of the CLLD Strategy of "LAG Nova Zagora - Sliven" for the period until December 31, 2027. The objectives, priorities and specific targets defined in the strategy for increasing the competitiveness of the economy, including agriculture and tourism /including the development of organic agriculture and sustainable tourism/ meet the aspiration to stimulate local economic development. The measures and activities selected in the CLLD strategy, including for cooperation, are in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 and Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 and lead to the achievement of the objectives of the SPZSD. The strategy has been developed in accordance with European, national, regional and municipal strategic and planning documents currently in force such as: • "Sustainable Europe by 2030" , • National Development Program "Bulgaria 2030" , • National Concept for Spatial Development 2013-2025, • Integrated Territorial Strategy for the Development of the South-Eastern Region for the period 2021-2027, • Integrated Development Plans of the Municipality of Nova Zagora and the Municipality of Sliven for the period 2021-2027, • Strategy for Sustainable Tourism Development in Bulgaria 2014-2030 /Horizon 2030/ and Strategic Plan for the Development of Cultural Tourism in Bulgaria. As a result of the developed analysis and the identified strengths and weaknesses, needs and potential for development of the territory, the main strategic objective of the SVOMR for the LAG "Nova Zagora - Sliven" for the period 2023-2027 is defined.
