The project proposal offers the vision of the Association "MIG Lukovit-Roman" through the implementation of the CLLD approach to improve the quality of life in the municipalities of Lukovit and Roman. Problems have been identified that are typical of rural areas, but also specific to the LAG territory. A Strategy has been developed by which the local community meets local needs, in the direction of creating and maintaining employment for the local population and benefiting small local businesses and people. We envisage that the measures included in the Strategy will be financed by both the Strategic plan for the development of agriculture and rural areas 2023-2027, but also with complementary funding from the Human Resources Development Program 2021-2027, the Education Program 2021-2027, the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021-2027 and the Environment Program 2021-2027. The implementation of the CLLD Strategy will help local people slow down the process of depopulation of rural areas by creating better economic, social and environmental living conditions in small settlements, supporting the local economy and cooperation.
