The project proposal is for the implementation of a Community-Led Local Development Strategy on the territory of the LAG "Panagyurishte, Strelcha, Lesichovo", covering the territory of the three municipalities. The population of the territory is 30,390 inhabitants as of 31.12.2020. The Strategy of the LAG "Panagyurishte, Strelcha, Lesichovo" was developed under a project under the Procedure through the selection of project proposals under Sub-measure 19.1 "Assistance for preparatory activities" of measure 19 "Community-Led Local Development" of the Rural Development Programme for the period 2014 - 2020 and provides for the implementation of operations, including cooperation activities and their preparation within the framework of the programming period 2023 - 2027. Through the implementation of the CLLD strategy, projects will be financed that meet local needs, create and retain employment for the local population and benefit small local businesses. The Strategy will support projects that create better economic, social and environmental living conditions in small settlements and the multi-sectoral development of local economies. The measures selected in the Strategy are from the field of rural development, eligible under Art. 73 and Art. 77 of Regulation (EC) No 2021/2115 and Regulation (EU) 2021/1060, with the exception of those that provide for fixed payments and interventions related to area payment schemes and stem from the detailed analysis of the identified needs of the territory submitted to the SCMDR, outlining the need for their financing.
