The project proposal envisages the implementation of a CLLD Strategy on the territory of the Devnya - Suvorovo LAG Association. The CLLD Strategy has been developed in accordance with the needs of the target territory, established within the framework of the prepared analyses: Socio-economic analysis; Innovation and smart settlements analysis and Stakeholder analysis. The CLLD approach is based on the understanding that development strategies are more effective and efficient if they are decided and implemented at the local level, accompanied by clear and transparent procedures, supported by the relevant municipal administrations and the necessary technical assistance for the dissemination of good practices. When formulating the objectives, priorities and interventions, as well as when determining the budget, the basic principle of the "bottom-up" approach has been applied in the Devnya - Suvorovo LAG Strategy, with the following main steps being implemented: - Conducting a survey to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the territory; the needs for financing through the EAFRD and other sectoral programs; investment intentions; capacity for project preparation and implementation; attitudes and trust in the principles and rules of the CLLD approach; - Review of basic regulatory, legal and strategic documents, the Integrated Development Plans of the two municipalities for 2021-2027 and the Integrated Territorial Strategy for the Development of the North-Eastern Planning Region for 2021 - 2027; - Preparation of analyses for the territory of the two municipalities, allowing for an assessment of the available resources and analysis of trends in the economic sector and the sphere of social activities; - Conducting working and information meetings related to consulting on the preparation of the CLLD Strategy, identifying and motivating key representatives of stakeholders to participate in the information events and public discussion of the LAG Strategy.
