The project envisages the implementation of a SCLLD for the territory of the Local Initiative Group "Balchik - General Toshevo" for the period 2023-2027. According to item 13.1.1 of the AC, the SCLLD has been developed for a period until 31.12.2027.The strategy will finance projects and activities that meet the local needs of the identified stakeholder groups from the public, business and non-profit sectors.The measures are aimed at achieving the priorities of the CVOMR for competitive agriculture and economy, modernizing public infrastructure, building an ecosystem of local identity as a basis for sustainable growth and community development.Measures are included to support agricultural holdings and processors of agricultural produce, to support non-agricultural production and services, to improve public infrastructure and spiritual sites, and to preserve and promote local heritage.The strategy includes cooperation activities, opportunities for partnerships and interaction for initiatives of common interest, support for the creation of smart villages.The project will satisfy the need of the local community for the application of the "bottom-up" principle in planning and programming of local development, with the active involvement of stakeholders in the process, without discriminatory elements and in line with the principle of equal opportunities.As a result of the implementation of the Strategy, long-term benefits will be achieved for local businesses, the quality of life and public services will be improved, and conditions will be created for modern European development of the territory.By implementing the CLLD approach on the territory of the Balchik - General Toshevo LAG, the strategic goal of the CLLD for sustainable development of the local economy, based on its own potential and territorial identity, promoting innovative activity, increasing the attractiveness of the territory, stimulating growth and employment for a better quality of life, will be achieved.
