The project envisages the implementation of a local development strategy on the territory of the Svilengrad-Topolovgrad LAG during the period 2023-2027 to achieve balanced socio-economic development, through support for entrepreneurship, implementation of innovations, careful use of local resources and potential, reduction of social inequalities to improve living conditions and the attractiveness of the territory. The objectives of the CLLD Strategy will be achieved through the implementation of 7 measures financed by the EAFRD with a total budget of BGN 5,867,400. Additional funding under PO, POS and HRD is also provided for the implementation of the CLLD. The strategy sets out 3 priorities: Priority 1. Improving living conditions and the attractiveness of the territory through the completion and renovation of public infrastructure and environmental protection. Priority 2. Economic development, promotion of small entrepreneurship and implementation of innovations in all economic sectors. Priority 3. Improving the quality of life and creating a dynamic living environment through the preservation of cultural heritage, initiating intersectoral partnerships, promoting quality employment and improving access to the educational and social spheres.
