The Community-Led Local Development Strategy for the period 2023-2027 of the Samokov LAG was prepared under the intervention "Implementation of operations, including cooperation activities and their preparation, selected within the framework of the local development strategy" by the Strategic Plan for Agricultural and Rural Development of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2023-2027, including activities with complementary funding from: Human Resources Development Program, Environment Program, Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program and Education Program. CLLD is essential for sustainable and balanced development on the territory of the Samokov LAG, for several key reasons: - CLLD represents a framework for strategic planning and coordination of local development. It brings together the efforts of various stakeholders – local authorities, businesses, non-governmental organizations and citizens – to identify specific needs, taking into account local conditions, resources and potential for the development of targeted measures and projects that are most suitable for solving local problems and challenges and achieving common goals and priorities. The process of preparing the CLLD includes broad public participation and consultations with local communities. This ensures that the strategy reflects the real needs and desires of the residents of the territory and that they are engaged in its implementation. - The CLLD promotes the sustainable development of the territory, focusing on innovation, competitiveness and job creation. This includes support for small and medium-sized enterprises, development of cooperation, improvement of infrastructure and environmental protection. - The CLLD includes mechanisms for managing, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the strategy and its promotion. This allows for tracking progress, identifying problems and making adjustments during implementation to ensure that the set goals are achieved effectively.
