Programme: Development of Regions Programme 2021-2027

The present project proposal aims to ensure the preparation of a concept for Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) for the Municipality of Asenovgrad, as well as project proposals for application under the procedure “Support for Integrated Urban Development in 40 Urban Municipalities – Stage 2”
In this regard, expert consultancy assistance will be provided, including:
1.Study and analysis of the compliance of the Municipality of Asenovgrad’s project ideas, planned for inclusion as activities in ITI concepts/project proposals, with:
-Adopted national, regional, district, and other strategic planning documents;
-Approved programs for the 2021–2027 programming period implementing the ITI instrument, specifically applicable to the second call, including sector mapping;
-Actions ensuring equality, inclusion, and non-discrimination.
2.Assessment of the contribution of the Municipality’s project ideas, planned for inclusion in ITI concepts/project proposals, to the priorities and specific objectives for the development of the South Central Planning Region.
3.Evaluation of the potential of the Municipality’s project ideas for inclusion in ITI concepts/project proposals, including their integration with other project ideas within the Concept and the expected synergistic effect.
4.Study of opportunities for grouping stakeholder project ideas into integrated projects that are a priority for the development of the target territory.
5.Support in compiling a list of project ideas and measures to be included within the scope of the ITI Concept.
6.Provision of expert consultancy assistance for the preparation of project proposals, approved within the Concept, for application under the relevant procedure(s), including: verification of administrative compliance, eligibility of partners/beneficiaries, eligibility of costs and activities, and completion of electronic Application Forms in the UMIS system in accordance with the Guidelines for Applicants under the procedure.
