The current project envisages the modeling and conceptualization of a charging station for electric vehicles with a buffer system and a renewable energy source for areas with insufficient power, using different types of batteries. For this purpose, a service provider will be assigned to be selected by the Platform for Cooperation between Higher Education Institutions, Research Organizations and Business.
With the increase in the number of electric vehicles (EV) worldwide, the need for infrastructure
for their charging in public places is increasing. In order to implement this charging, a need arises
for greater electrical power than currently exists in some areas. Connecting more power is often very expensive or impossible.
This requires the development of a new concept in the construction of the charging infrastructure
for fast charging of electric vehicles in areas with high traffic - along highways, gas stations, shopping centers,
and others. The use of charging stations with a battery buffer will provide a long-term solution for balancing the
electric load at peak times. It will also increase charging capacity without requiring reductions in other electrical loads. The integration of renewable energy sources with charging stations will also contribute to achieving a sustainable environment for the use and storage of green energy.

Унитраф АД разработва зарядни станции,но не може със собствени сили да осъществи това моделиране.Затова проектът предвижда тази дейност да се възложи на научно-изследователска организация,имаща материалната база,експертизата и опита в сферата.
